Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
1. Who we are
InkScribe AI ("we", "us") provides an online tool that helps people write and publish marketing content. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and a securely stored password.
- Content you provide: the text, settings, voice profile, banned phrases and drafts you enter or generate in the service.
- Connected accounts: if you connect a social account such as LinkedIn, we store the access token needed to publish on your behalf. We do not see or store your password for that account.
- Payment information: payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing details, not your full card number.
- Usage and device data: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and credit usage, used to run, secure and improve the service.
- Messages to us: anything you send through email or the website assistant.
3. How we use information
- To create and run your account and provide the service.
- To generate drafts, reviews and other output you request.
- To publish content to accounts you have connected, when you ask us to.
- To process payments, manage credits and prevent abuse.
- To respond to support requests and send service messages.
- To maintain security and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. AI processing
To generate content, the text you submit is sent to a third-party AI model provider. We send only what is needed to complete your request. Under the provider's commercial terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models by default. Please see the provider's own privacy documentation for details. The website assistant also uses an AI model; do not enter sensitive personal information into it. Do not enter confidential information into the service that you are not comfortable sending to these providers.
5. Sharing
- Service providers who help us operate the service, such as hosting, payment processing and AI model providers, under obligations to protect your information.
- Platforms you connect, such as LinkedIn, when you choose to publish there.
- Legal and safety: when required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- Business changes: if the business is merged or sold, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies on the service.
7. Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and content at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep certain records.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Your choices and rights
- Access, correct or export the information we hold about you.
- Delete your account and content.
- Disconnect a connected social account at any time from the Connections page, and revoke access from that platform's own settings.
- Object to or limit certain uses of your information, where the law gives you that right.
To use any of these rights, contact us at hello@example.com.
10. Children
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make significant changes we will tell you by email or in the service.
